Josh grew up in a lower income family, raised primarily by his mother. The relationship with his father would come to fruition years later as Josh and he got involved in business together. 

At twelve years old Josh began his entrepreneurial journey and three days after high school he started his first business. 

So shy that he couldn't order a hamburger from a drive-thru and reading at a seven year old level Josh went to work building his business. 

The first couple of attempts failed but by the time he reached his early twenties he started getting the hang of the business world.

Having forgone the typical college education in order to build his businesses Josh started getting noticed for his unique skill set. By the early 2000's he was being asked to speak and write on topics including business and politics. In 2010 he wrote his first book; Quit Your Job or Die. Shortly thereafter in 2011 he launched his nationally syndicated talk-show; The Josh Tolley Show and in 2015 followed that up with his best-selling book to date; Evangelpreneur.
